Author Nickolas Butler will read the latest novel at the library

Enjoy an evening with best-selling and award-winning author Nickolas Butler at the Moline Public Library on Thursday, October 6 at 6 p.m.

Butler will read an excerpt from his latest novel, “Godspeed”, and discuss his work. The books will be available for purchase after the presentation, a press release said.

Hailed by novelist CJ Box as a “page-turning novel and a race against time,” “Godspeed” is a brutal exploration of the haves and the have-nots, a cautionary tale of greed and violence that asks: never enough? Butler’s other works include his first international and award-winning bestseller, “Shotgun Lovesongs”, “Beneath the Bonfire”, “The Hearts of Men”, and “Little Faith”.
