Japanese developer Nexton has been teasing a 30th anniversary project for some time, and a new trailer has provided a pretty clear indication of its nature.

A previous trailer from March 25 featured a Japanese street and a girl seen from behind, but the new trailer shows her turning around, revealing herself as Mizuka Nagamori, one of the heroines of the legendary visual novel One: Kagayaku Kisetsu e .

This likely indicates that the game is getting a remake.

Along with the trailer, we get full key art featuring Mizuka herself.

We’re also getting a summer 2022 release window, while the platforms haven’t been announced yet.

If you’re not familiar with One: Kagayaku Kisetsu e (which translates to “To the Radiant Season”), it was originally released as an eroge in 1998 for Windows, then ported to PlayStation a year later with the usual version for all ages.

It is considered one of the pioneering works of the visual novel subgenres that blend elements of science fiction and fantasy with romance, and is cited as inspiration by, among others, Kinoko Nasu of Type -Moon.

You can see both the trailer and key art below.
